A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA
SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE COUNTY. CALIFORNIA, MAKING
APPLICATION TO THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION OF
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY
TO THE DISTRICT, .
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District, Orange County, California, desires to initiate proceedings
for the annexation of the hereinafter described territory to said
District;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District of Orange County, California, does hereby resolve,
determine and order as follows:
1. That this application is being filed pursuant to the
provisions of Division 1 of Title 6 of the Government Code of the
State of California for the purpose of proposing the annexation of
below described property to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District.
2,, That the territory proposed to be annexed contains
2.7 acres and is contiguous to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
and the territory proposed to be included in and annexed to said
Sanitary District is specifically described in Exhibit "A" which
is attached hereto and made a part hereof, consisting of two
typewritten sheets and a map
3. That a map showing said boundaries together with a copy
of the above legal description has heretofore been filed with the
Orange County Surveyor and with the Commission and has been found
to be definite and certain by the Orange County Surveyor,, Said
map is hereby referred to and by reference made a part hereof to
the same force and effect as if set out herein or attached hereto.
4. That the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited.
5. That the reason for the proposed annexation is to obtain
and provide sewer service for the territory proposed to be annexed.
6. That the territory to be annexed is entirely located
within Orange County, California,
7, That the names of all the affected districts are as follows:
County Sanitation District No.. 7
Orange County Flood Control District
Harbor District
Mosquito Abatement District
County Library District
Metropolitan Water District
Santa Ana School District
8. That the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District respectfully requests the Local Agency Formation Commission
of Orange County, California, to institute proceedings for the
annexation of the above described territory to said District.
9, That it is further requested that the said Local Agency
Formation Commission order pursuant to the provisions of Section 56261
of the Government Code of California that this annexation be approved
without notice and hearing by the Commission and approve and autho-
rize the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District to
annex such territory without notice and hearing by the Board of
Directors and without election.
10; That attached hereto is evidence of consent and request
directed to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District signed by all of the owners
of the land which is in such territory proposed to be annexed.
11. That the owners who signed said attached consent and request
are hereby found to be the owners of 100% of the land described above,
12.. That the proposed terms and conditions to which the pro-
posed annexation is desired to be subject are described as follows:
That all annexation fees be paid to the District prior to
this annexation becoming effective

85 of Miscellaneous Records, filed in the office o€ the County Recorder of
Los Angels 'County, California more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point-in the existing boundary of the Costa•MesA
Sanitary District, said angle point being the northeasterly corner of
Engineers No. 137 Annexation to said District, said point also being on the
center line of Paularino, Avenue, 1057.82 feet, measured along the center line
of Paularino Avenue southeasterly of the center line of Babb Street and a,
point in the southerly boundary of Engineers No.83 Annexation`to said..D.istriot;
thence South 890 17' 05" East along said boundary 201.66 feet to a point in
the.existing boundary of Engineers No. 98 Annexation to said District;. thence
departing said boundary along the easterly line of Tract No. 9383, recorded
in book 387, pages 11 and 12 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, the following courses: South 190 '47' 20" East, 331.99 feet; thence
South 41° 08' 01" East, 127.82 feet to the beginning of a non - tangent curve,
concave southeasterly, having a radius of 700.00 feet, a radial bearing from
said point bears South 560 00' 54" East; thence southerly along said curve-
t . hrough a central angle of 000 38' 40 ", an arc dis.,tance of 7.87 feet to a
point in a non - tangent line, a radial bearing from said point bears South
560 39' 34" East; thence North 890 19' 30" West along the southerly line of
said Tract No. 9383, 398.18 feet to the southeasterly corner of said
Engineers No. 137. Annexation; thence North 00° 36' 18" West along said
boundary, 413.01 feet to the Point of Beginning.
