Reso 1977-301it RESOLUTION NO. 77 -301 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT ADOPTING A PREVAILING WAGE RATE PURSUANT TO SECTION 1773 OF THE LABOR CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, it is necessary that the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District ascertain and determine the general prevailing rates of wages for public works; and the provisions of said Code make it mandatory upon the awarding body of any public contract, where said body subsequently calls for bids for any public improvements, to ascertain and determine the general prevailing :rates of hourly wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft or type of work needed to execute the contract and the general prevailing rates of legal holiday and overtime work in each craft or type of work; WHEREAS, said general prevailing rates of per diem wages are set forth in a document entitled: GENERAL WAGE DETERMINATION MADE BY THE DIRECTOR OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA LABOR CODE, PART 7, CHAPTER 1, ARTICLE 2, SECTIONS 1770, 1773, and 1773.1, effective January 1, 1977, said document being attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District that the general prevailing -rates of hourly wages in the Costa Mesa Sanitary District for each craft or type of work needed to execute contracts and the general prevailing rate of legal holiday and overtime work for each craft or type of work are as follows, effective as of the 2nd day of February, 1977, unless otherwise noted as it herein- after appears in an exhibit marked "Exhibit A" attached to this r Resolution and by this reference made a part hereof.
