RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION NO. 90-495
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT COMMENDING FRANKLIN
D. COLE FOR SERVICE TO THE DISTRICT AND EXPRESSING
REASONS THEREFOR.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: That
WHEREAS, FRANKLIN D. COLE was appointed to the Board on January 30;1990, and gave
almost a year's dedicated service to the community as a Board member; and
WHEREAS, in the short time that he was a Board member, he became thoroughly acquainted
with District policy problems, aims and philosophies and contributed thoughtfully to meeting discussions
and entered into the decision- making process conscientiously; and
WHEREAS, FRANKLIN D. COLE in each instance personally visited the site of any District
problem and met with members of the public affected by any District problem in a conscientious effort to
resolve difficulties as they occurred; and
WHEREAS, FRANKLIN D. COLE proved to be an invaluable asset in his service to the Board
and the District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that FRANKLIN D. COLE be commended for his
great contribution to the District during his short tenure, having given time, intelligence and expertise,
all of which benefitted and will continue to benefit the District in future years;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that FRANKLIN D. COLE be wished well on his future
endeavors both in public and private life; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of THIS RESOLUTION duly embossed be presented
to FRANKLIN D. COLE and that a copy be made a permanent record in the archives of the District.
