A RESOLUTION OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT DESIGNATING PERSONS
AUTHORIZED TO APPEAR REPRESENTING THE DISTRICT IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT AND
SETTING FORTH THE REASONS THEREFOR.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the District from time to time has been made a defendant in small
claims court and from time to time is required to appear as plaintiff for the
collection of unpaid accounts;
2. That the Costa Mesa Sanitary District as a governmental agency must act
by and through its employees, officers and agents;
3. That it is in the best interests of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District that
parties be designated for the purposes as set forth in this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following persons be authorized to
appear by and on behalf of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District in small claims court
for purposes of defense of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District and to prosecute the
rights of the District as plaintiff:
Robert Brock, District Manager
Florine Reichle, District Clerk
Rob Hamers, District Engineer.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that copies of this Resolution be certified by the
Clerk and that certified copies be prepared and presented to the court in each
instance where the Costa Mesa Sanitary District is a party, either plaintiff or
defendant.
