A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY
DISTRICT, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 78 -321, BEING A RESOLUTION ADOPTING
A CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE APPLICABLE TO THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS, PURSUANT TO THE POLITICAL REFORM ACT OF 1974.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of law, a conflict of
interest code was adopted by the Costa Mesa Sanitary District on the 7th day
of June, 1978; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution was approved by the Board of Supervisors on
August 29, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
desires to make certain amendments to the filing procedures for filing of
Statement of Econominc Interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOI;�7ED:
SECTION 1: That Section 3: DISCLOSURE (a) shall be amended to read
I as follows:
"(a) Members of the Board of Directors, District consultants and
District staff members shall file their Statement of Financial
Interest with the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the District
shall retain said filings in original form as prominent records of
the District.
SECTION 2: Except as previously amended, in no other aspects shall
Resolution No. 78 -321 be amended or changed.
SECTION 3: The Clerk of the District is directed to forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Orange County Board of Supervisors
requesting their approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa
