A RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION
BY THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
REQUESTING THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION TO
TAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY,,BEING ANNEXATION NO. 236
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, that
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Sanitary District desires to initiate proceedings
pursuant to the Cortese -Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985,
Division 3, commencing with Section 56000 of the California Government Code,
for the annexation of territory; and
WHEREAS, the territory proposed to be annexed is inhabited, and a description
of the boundaries of the territory is set forth in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, this proposal is consistent with the sphere of influence of the
affected district; and
WHEREAS, it is desired to provide that the proposed annexation be subject
to the following terms and conditions:

WHEREAS, the reasons for this proposed annexation are as follows:
Annexation necessary to provide liquid waste disposal and trash
collection for users within the territory to be annexed.
and
NOW, THEREFORE, this Resolution of Application is hereby adopted and
approved by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, and
the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County is hereby requested
to take proceedings for the annexation of territory as described in Exhibit
"A ", according to the terms and conditions stated above and in the manner
provided by the Cortese -Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985.

Passed and adopted by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District at a regular meeting thereof held on the 11"-64 day

ANNEXATION TO THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT - ENGINEER'S NO. 236
A portion of Geo. W. Griffith's Subdivision of Fountain Addition to
Fairview in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of
California, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 4, page 26,
of Miscellaneous Maps of Orange County plus a portion of Parcel 2,
in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, as shown on a Parcel
Map recorded in Book 23, page 30 of Parcel Maps of Orange County
described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District, said point being the northeast corner of
Engineer's No. 217 Annexation to said District; thence along the
existing boundary of said District as described in Engineer's Nas.
217, 190, 148 and 45 Annexations in a generally westerly, northerly,
easterly, and southerly direction to an angle point in the existing
boundary of said District, said point being the intersection of the
center line of Citrus Street with the northerly line of the First
Addition to Fairview .as described in said Engineer's No. 45
Annexation; thence westerly departing the existing boundary of said
District along said northerly line of the First Addition to Fairview
149.9 feet more or less to the northeasterly corner of said Parcel 2
of P.M. 23/30.; thence southerly along the easterly line of said
Parcel 2 South 100.0 feet more or less to the point of beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 3.5 acres.
Attached and made a part of is a map designated EXHIBIT "B ".
