A RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION
BY THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
REQUESTING THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION TO
TAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY, BEING ANNEXATION N0. 234
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, that
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Sanitary District desires to initiate proceedings
pursuant to the Cortese -Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985,
Division 3, commencing with Section 56000 of the California Government Code,
for the annexation of territory; and
WHEREAS, the territory proposed to be annexed is inhabited, and a description
of the boundaries of the territory is set forth in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, this proposal is consistent with the sphere of influence of the
affected district; and
WHEREAS, it is desired

WHEREAS, the reasons for this proposed annexation are as follows:
Annexation necessary to provide liquid waste disposal and trash
collection for users within the territory to be annexed.
NOW, THEREFORE, this Resolution of Application is hereby adopted and
approved by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary'District, and
the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County is hereby requested
to take proceedings for the annexation of territory as described in Exhibit
"A ", according to the terms and conditions stated above and in the manner
provided by the Cortese -Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985.
Passed and adopted by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District at a regular meeting thereof held on the 11-6t day
of 198X; by the following vote:

EXHIBIT "A"
ANNEXATION TO THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT - ENGINEER'S NO. 234
That portion of Lot 152, Block 51 of Irvine's Subdivision in the County
of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map thereof recorded in
Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Maps, records.of Orange County, plus
that portion of Lots 117 and 118 of Tract No. 706, recorded in Book 21,
page 25 of Miscellaneous Maps of Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District, said point being the Northwesterly corner of
Engineer's No. 158 Annexation to said District; thence Southwesterly
along the existing boundary of said District as described in said
Engineer's No. 158 S23015'28 "W 759.46 feet to the southwesterly corner
of said Engineer's No. 158, said point being on a curve concave
Southwesterly, having a radius of 1,000 feet, a radial to said curve
bears N25023'05 "E, said curve being described in Document No. 37533,
recorded July 23, 1951, in Official Records of Orange County; thence
departing the existing boundary of said District northwesterly 202.12
feet along said curve as described in said document through a central
angle of 11034'50" to a tangent line; thence continuing along said
tangent line as described in said document N76011'45 "W 5.29 feet to a
point on a line described in Document No. 37536, recorded July 23, 1951,
in Official Records of Orange County; thence along said line described
in said Document No. 37536 N36013'05 "E 801.61 feet to a point on the
existing boundary of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District as described in
Engineer's No. 19 Annexation to said District; thence along the existing
boundary of said District as described in said Engineer's No. 19
Annexation S50011'45 "E 27.97 feet to the point of beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 2.04 acres.
