A RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION
BY THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
RDQUESTING THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION TO
TAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY, BEING ANNEXATION NO. 231
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, that
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Sanitary District desires to initiate proceedings
pursuant to the Cortese -Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985,
Division 3, commencing with Section 56000 of the California Government Code,
for the annexation of territory; and
WHEREAS, the territory proposed to be annexed is inhabited, and a description
of the boundaries of the territory is set forth in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, this proposal is consistent with the sphere of influence of the
affected district; and
WHEREAS, it is desired to provide that

WHEREAS, the reasons for this proposed annexation are as follows:
Annexation necessary to provide liquid waste disposal and trash
collection for users within the territory to be annexed.
NOW, THEREFORE, this Resolution of Application is hereby adopted and
approved by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, and
the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County is hereby requested
to take proceedings for the annexation of territory as described in Exhibit
"A ", according to the terms and conditions stated above and in the manner
provided by the Cortese -Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985.

District at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day

ANNEXATION TO THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT - ENGINEER'S NO. 231
That portion of Lot '152 in Block 51 of Irvine's Subdivision, in the County
of Orange, State of California, as per map thereof recorded in Book 1, Page
88 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described as
follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District, said point being the southeasterly corner of Engineer's
No. 109 Annexation to said District; thence along the existing boundary of
said District as described in Engineer's Nos. 109, 19, and 101 Annexations
to said District in a generally northeasterly, northwesterly,
northeasterly, southeasterly, and southwesterly direction to the
southwesterly corner of Engineer's No. 101 Annexation to said District,
said point being on a non - tangent curve concave southwesterly, having a
radius of 818.25 feet, at which point a radial to said curve bears
N27017'14 "E, as said curve is shown on a Record of Survey filed in Book 29,
page 3, of Records of Survey, Orange County; thence departing said existing
boundary along said curve as shown on said Record of Survey, northwesterly,
128.29 feet, through a central angle of 8058'59 ", to a point at which a
radial to said curve bears N18018'15 "E, said point being the point of
beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 3.8 acres.
Attached and made a part of is a map designated EXHIBIT "B ".
