? THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
COMMENDING CITY MANAGER, FRED L. SORSABAL; EXPRESSING
THE DISTRICT'S APPRECIATION FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION TO
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE DISTRICT AND THE CITY;
AND PROVIDING FOR DISTRIBUTION OF COPIES HEREOF.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa has been the contractual
operator of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District since its inception; and
WHEREAS, the fine relationship that exists between the City and
the Sanitary District is due largely to the interest and the cooperation
of the City Manager for the City of Costa Mesa; and
WHEREAS, Fred L. Sorsabal has served the City of Costa Mesa for
eighteen years, both as Assistant City Manager and as City Manager; and
WHEREAS, on his leaving, the City Manager should be commended for
his contribution to the fine relationship between the District and the
City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Directors of the
Costa Mesa Sanitary District commend Fred L. Sorsabal on his eighteen
years of service with the City of Costa Mesa and his interest in and
cooperation with the Costa Mesa Sanitary District during this period; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District recognize and applaud the years of service to both
the City of Costa Mesa and the Costa Mesa Sanitary District by Fred L.
Sorsabal; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District wish Fred L. Sorsabal every success in whatever
new endeavors he may undertake; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be entered
into the records of the District as part of its permanent records; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution in appro-
priate framed form be presented to Fred L. Sorsabal for his permanent
archives and mementos.
