A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA
SANITARY DISTRICT CONSENTING TO THE DETACHMENT OF CERTAIN
TERRITORY KNOWN AS THE BAYVIEW SCHOOL SITE; CONSENTING TO
THE TRANSFER OF THE PROPERTY TAX, IF ANY, TO THE IRVINE
RANCH WIATER DISTRICT AND EXPRESSING REASONS .THEREFOR.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT DOES
HEREBY-RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT a parcel of property known as the Bayview School Site located
near Bayview Place and Bayview Way off of Jamboree Boulevard in the County
of Orange lies within the geographical limits of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District; and
WHEREAS, said site is within the sphere of influence of the City
of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property, J.M. Peters Company, has re-
quested that the parcel of property be detached from the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District in the course of proceedings.for the annexation of the property
to the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission has required as a
condition of approval the consent of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District to
said detachment and a consent to transfer real property tax, if any, to the
Irvine Ranch Water District which proposes to serve the.sanitary sewer .
needs of said parcel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
consents to the detachment of that property described in a legal description
and plat plan attached to this Resolution marked respectively Exhibit "A"
and Exhibit "B ";
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Costa Mesa Sanitary District consents
to the transfer of property tax, if any, to the Irvine Ranch Water District
which proposes to serve the sewer needs of said detached parcel;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certified copies of this Resolution be
forwarded by the Secretary of the District to the Local Agency Formation
Commission, Irvine Ranch Water District, and the City of Newport Beach.
