also read and passed to this meeting.

Note: The above item I.larrant N0,1121k in favor of Francis H Bulot,
,$126 00, Inspection fees on House Connection construction in Tract
1712, upon separate explanation and discussion was orderd paid on
motion by Director Nelson seconded by Director Norman.
On motion by Director Nelson seconded by Director Meyers, Application
for 1,diembership. and payment of annual dues fee of V 00, in name of
F B Owen Secretary, in California Sewage and Industrial Wastes
Association, was authorized.

Moved by Director Meyers seconded by Director Nelson that Order issue
in regular form and manner granting Petition for annexation of Annexa-
tion No 13, 20th street, Tustin to Irvine, and acceptance of such annex-
ation. 11,lotion carried and Attorney Anderson directed to complete
annexation by presentation to Board of Supervisors.
The matter of -louse Construction, Permit and Inspection in Tracts .1712
and 1713, Newport Vista Tract, Republic Construction Corporation, was
discussed, whereupon on motion by Director Lord seconded by Director
- Nelson, Secretary was directed to address a letter to the Republic
Construction Corporation setting forth terms and conditions as pre -
scribed by Ordinance No 1, and requesting; Application for Permit to
construct house connections on all lots in Tracts 1712 and 1713.
P,Iotion carried.
It was further moved by Director Meyers seconded by Director Nelson
thb.t Engineer Francis H Bulot be employed to inspect such house connection
construction and paid at the rate of $2 00 per unit.
Discussion of plans and possibilities of early connection to Sanitation
District No 6 and hence to J 0 S facilities, resumed.
'Director-Meyers stated that he understood Attorney Preston Turner was
now favorable to early action, if' it could be shown that an emergency
existed justifying such action as would enable connection to and use of pre,
sent J 0 S facilities.
Director Meyers further stated that the Sanitation District Doards
would meet the following; day, December 9th, and in general discussed

rospects and possibilities of favorable action calculated to relieve
the sewer service conditions of Costa TvIesa Sanitary District.
Secretary reported on IIousc Count with newly annexed areas including
Area No 12, referred to as "School" area, and Area No 13, known as
20th street, whereupon, it was
Moved by Director Nelson seconded by Director Ford that garbage and
trash pick -up service be inaugurated in Area i`' 12, as of January
1st 1954, on an estimated house count of 135.
P,ioved by Director Lord seonded by Director Meyers that pick -up service
be started in Area No l , as of Ja :��uary 1st 1951+, on an estimated
house count of 10.
