A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIREC.`TORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, MAKING APPLICATION TO THE LOCAL AGENCY
FORMATION COMMUSSION OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE ANNEXATION OF
TERRITORY TO THE DISTRICT, BEING ENGINEER'S N0. 223.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF.THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District,
Orange County, California, desires to initiate proceedings for the annexation
of the hereinafter described territory to said District;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
of Orange County, California, does hereby resolve, determine and order as
follows:
1. That this application is being filed pursuant to the provisions of
-Division 1 of Title 6 of the Goverrm-ent Code of the State of California for the
purpose of proposing the annexation of below described property to the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District.
2. That the territory proposed to be annexed contains 0.22 acres and
is contiguous to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District and the territory proposed to
be included in and annexed to said Sanitary District is specifically described
in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, consisting of
one typewritten sheets and a map.
3. That a map showing said boundaries together with a copy of the above
legal description has heretofore been filed with the Orange County Surveyor and
with the Commission and has been found to be definite and certain by the Orange
County Surveyor. Said map is hereby referred to and by reference made a part
hereof to the same force and effect as if set out herein or attached hereto.
4. That the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited.
5. That the reason for the proposed annexation is to obtain and provide
sewer service for the territory proposed to be annexed.
6. That the territory.to be annexed is entirely located within Orange
County, California.
7. That the names of all the affected distracts are as follows:
County Sanitation District No. 7
Orange County Flood Control District
Y"
Harbor District
Nbsquito Abatement District
County Library District
Metropolitan Water District
Santa Ana School District
8. That the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
respectfully requests the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County,
California, to institute proceedings for the annexation of the above
described territory to said District.
9. That it is further requested that the said Local Agency Formation
Commission order pursuant to the provisions of Section 56261 of the Government
Code of California that this annexation be'approved without notice and hearing
by the Commission and approve and authorize the Board of Directors of the
Costa Mesa Sanitary District to annex such territory without notice and
hearing by the Board of Directors and without election.
10. That attached hereto is evidence of consent and request directed
to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District signed by all of the owners of the land
which is in such territory proposed to be annexed.
11. That the owners who signed said attached consent and request are
hereby found to be the owners of 100% of the land described above.
12. That the proposed terms and conditions to which the proposed
annexation is desired to be subject are described as follows:
That all annexation fees be paid to the District prior to this
annexation becoming effective. G

ANNEXATION TO THE COSTA -MESA SANITARY DISTRICT- ENGINEER'S NO. 223
That portion of Lot 14, Block B, of the Berry Tract, in the City
of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on
a map thereof recorded in Book 9, Page 6, of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the exi st.i ng boundary of the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District as described in Engineer's No. 135
Annexation to said District, said point being the westerly
terminus of the course described as "S 890 21' 55" E 264.00 feet"
in said annexation; thence northerly along the existing boundary
of said District as described in said annexation N 00 38' 52" E
136.39 feet to a point in the center line of Bear Street as shown
on Parcel Map 81 -382, filed in Book 163, Pages 2 through. 4,., °of
Parcel Maps, records of Orange County, said point being on a non -
tangent curve, concave southwesterly, having a radius of 1,050.00
feet, at which point a radial to said curve bears N 410 22'26 "E;
thence southeasterly, departing the existing boundary of said
District, and along said center line, 190.11 feet, through a
central angle of 10u 22'26" to a non - tangent line -, at which point
a radial to said curve bears N 510 44'53" E, said point being the
intersection of said center line with the course described as "S
890 21'55" E 264.00 feet" in said Engineer's No. 135 Annexation,
said point also being the southwest corner of Engineer's.No. 203
Annexation to said District; thence westerl�, along said existing
boundary as described in said course N 89 21'47" W 132.09 feet
to the point of beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 0.22 acres.
Attached and made a part of is a map designated EXHIBIT "B ".
