A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, MAKING APPLICATION TO THE LOCAL,
AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, FOR THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY
TO THE DISTRICT, BEING ANNE)(MION NO. 222 .
THE BOARD OF DIREC`T'ORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District,
Orange County, California, desires to initiate proceedings for the annexa-
tion of the hereinafter described territory to said District;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District of Orange County, California, does hereby resolve, determine
and order as follows:
1. That this application is being filed pursuant to the provisions
of Division 1 of Title 6 of the Government Code of the State of California
for the purpose of proposing the annexation of below described property
to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District.
2. That the territory proposed to be annexed contains 51.33 acres
and is contiguous to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District and the territory
proposed to be included in and annexed to said Sanitary District is
specifically described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof, consisting of one typewritten sheets and a map.
3. That a map showing said boundaries together with a copy of the
above legal description has heretofore been filed with the Orange County
Surveyor and with the Ccmmission and has been found to be definite and
certain by the Orange County Surveyor. Said map is hereby referred to
and by reference made a part hereof to the same force and effect as'is
set out herein or attached hereto.
4. That the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited.
5. That the reason for the proposed annexation is to obtain and
provide sewer service for the territory proposed to be annexed.
. 6. That the territory to be annexed is entirely located within
Orange County, California.
7. That the names of all the affected districts are as follows:
Orange County Sanitation District No. 7
Orange County Float Control District
Harbor District
Mosquito Abatement District
County Library District
Metropolitan Water District
Santa Ana School District
8. That the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
respectfully requests the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange
County, California, to institute proceedings for the annexation of the
above described territory to said District.
9. That it is further requested that the said Local Agency Fbrma-
tion�Commission order pursuant to the provisions of Section 56261 of
the Government Code of California that this annexation be approved with-
out notice and hearing by the Commission and approve and authorize the
Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District to annex such
territory without notice and hearing by the Board of Directors and
without election.
10. That attached hereto is evidence of consent and request directed
to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District signed by all of the owners of the
land which is in such territory proposed to be annexed.
11. That the owners who signed said attached consent and request
are hereby found to be the owners of 100 percent of the land described
above.
12. That the proposed terms and conditions to which the proposed
annexation is desired to be subject are described as follows:
That all annexation fees be paid to the District prior to this
annexation becoming effective.

ANNEXATION TO THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT - ENGINEER'S NO. 222
That portion of Parcels A, D, and G, in the City of Costa Mesa,
County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a Record of
Survey filed in Book 53, Pages 34 -36, Records of Survey, Orange
County, California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the existing boundary of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District, said point being the northwest corner of
Annexation No. 21 to said District as adopted by the Board of
Supervisors on December 27, 1955, said point also being the
southwest corner of said Parcel D of said Record of Survey;
thence departing the existing boundary of said District along the
westerly line of said Parcel D N 00 32' 30" W 660.00 feet;
thence continuing along the boundary of said Parcel D N 890 27'
30" E 660.14 feet to the northeast corner of said Parcel D, said
point also being in the west line of land conveyed to Newport
Harbor Union High School District on June 28, 1963, in Final
Order of Condemnation, filed in Book 6611, page 921 of Official
Records of Orange County, said point being N 00 32' 30" W 660.00
feet from the southwesterly corner thereof; thence along said
west 1 i ne N 00 32' 30" W 209.11 feet; thence conti nui ng al ong
said High School District land the fol 1 owi ng courses: N 510 50'
47" E 662.84 feet ; thence N 370 15' 16" E 40.00 feet to a point
on the southerly 1 i ne of said Parcel F, said point being on a non
tangent curve, concave northeasterly, having a radius of 8.00.00
feet, at which point a radial to said curve bears S 370 15' 16"
W ; thence southeasterly 353.38 feet along said curve as shown on
said Parcel F through a central angle of 250 18' 33" to a
tangent line; thence continuing along said Parcelj S 780 03' 17"
E 122.38 feet to a tangent curve, concave southwesterly, having a
radius of 800.00 feet; thence southeasterly 229.45 feet along
said curve as shown on said Parcel F through a central angle of
160 25' 59" to the southeasterly corner of said Parcel F, said
point also being on the southwesterly line of the land deeded to
the City of Costa Mesa on December 16, 1964, in Book 7347, page
883, of Official Records of Orange County; thence departing said
High School District land and along said land deeded to the City
of Costa Mesa th,e fol 1 owing courses: southeasterly 378.11 feet
along the continuance of the previously described curve, concave
southwesterly, having a radius of 800.00 feet, through a ce.ntral
angle of 270 04' 48" to a tangent line; thence along said tangent
line S 340 32' 30" E 747.08 feet to a tangent curve, concave
southwesterly, having a radius of 500.00 feet; thence
southeasterly 193.17 feet along said curve through a central
angle of 220 08' 08" to a point on a non - tangent line, said point
being in the south line of said Parcel G and the existing
boundary of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, as described in
said Annexation No. 21; thence westerly, departing said land
deeded to the Ci ty of Costa Mesa, a 1 ong the southerly 1 i ne of
said Parcels G and D and along the existing boundary of said
District S 890 27' 30" W 2,629.34 feet to the point of
beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 51.83 acres.
