Minutes of Regular Meeting of the Board of
Directors of the Costa Tiesa.Sanitary District
held at 2057 (Rear) Newport Avenue Costa Mesa
California, December 3rd 1953

Absent: Secretary Owen (Excused to attend Mosquito Control
Convention at Berkeley.)
Meeting called to order by President Tellinkle at 7 :30 P M
Director Nelson appointed Acting Secretary
Annexation No 1
This being the date and hour set per legal publication for Hearing
on Petition to annex a certain area borderinCz; on the South Side of
20th street between Tustin and Irvine and comprising hot 207 NPH and Tract
641, said Petition was presented to the\�oard. No person appeared in
protest and no protest was filed in writing. Board action on question-
of-acceptance was by mutual consent deferred until adjourned meeting; of
this regular meeting.
Inspection and test of sewer main on Hamilton. street, now being con-
structed from Placentia Avenue to connect with existing main on
Hamilton street by the Republic Construction Corporation, was discussed
and Engineer Messing notified to contact Secretary and advise him of the
date of proobsed test in. order that arrangeirients mi-bt be made for
CJ
Directors to be present.
The matter of Sanitation District No 6 obtaining permission to connect
to J 0 S outfall facilities prior to completion of Treatment Plant No 2
thus providing disposal facilities for Costa Mesa Sanitary District,
enabling that District to start gathering and disposal operation at an
early date and upon completion of Ocean Outfall marine section, was
discussed at length and decision_ to follow up through. District No 6
and J 0 S officials as develop- rients seemed to warrant.
Meeting adjourned to December 8th, on motion duly rnade, seconded and
carried.
