Contract - Pacific Data Electric - 2015-07-01 FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT AND PACIFIC DATA ELECTRIC(PDE)
FOR GENERATOR MAINTENANCE
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to Agreement between the Costa Mesa Sanitary District and Pacific
Data Electric (PDE) for generator, transfer switch, and infrared scanning maintenance services
("AGREEMENT") is made and entered into this 1st day of July, 2015, by and between the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District, hereinafter referred to as DISTRICT,and Pacific Data Electric(PDE), hereinafter referred
to as CONSULTANT.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, on July 9, 2014, the DISTRICT and CONSULTANT entered into an AGREEMENT for
regular maintenance services on emergency generators for the District Headquarters and Canyon Lift
Station generators for compensation in the amount of $6,281.69 per year which was for a one year
term; and

WHEREAS, the DISTRICT and CONSULTANT now desire to increase the amount of the
AGREEMENT to $13,100 to include two new generators (Corporate Yard and Irvine Pump Station)for FY
15-16 as indicated on Attachment 1; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to enter into a new one year agreement to includethe
services provided for all four generators as set forth in new Attachment 1 to this First Amendment for
the total sum of$13,100 per year; •
NOW,THEREFORE,the Agreement is amended as of the date hereof as follows:
1. That the term of the Agreement shall be for one year, ending on July 8,2016.
2. Section 4 of the Agreement is amended by striking $6,281.69 and adding the
term$13,100 for one year's service (FY 15-16).
3. That the generators serviced and the services provided shall be in accordance
with Attachment 1,which shall supersede the previous Attachment.
4. That except as modified herein, the other provisions of the Agreement shall
• remain in effect as originally stated and apply to this First Amendment.
