A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, MAKING APPLICATION TO THE LOCAL AGENCY
FORMATION COMMISSION OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE ANNEXATION OF
TERRITORY TO THE DISTRICT, BEING ANNEXATION NO. 200.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICTr ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FULLCWS:
V&1EREAS, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District,
Orange County, California, desires to initiate proceedings for the annexation
of the hereinafter described territory to said District,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
of Orange County, California, does hereby resolve, determine and order as
follows:
1. That this application is being filed pursuant to the provisions of
Division 1 of Title 6 of the Government Code of the State of California for the
purpose of proposing the annexation of below described property to the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District.
2. That the territory proposed to be annexed contains 1.594 acres and
is contiguous to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District and the territory proposed to
be included in and annexed to said Sanitary District is specifically described
in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, consisting of
two typewritten sheets and a map.
3. That a map showing said boundaries together with a copy of the above
legal description has heretofore been filed with the Orange County Surveyor and
with the CcnuLission and has been found to be definite and certain by the Orange
County Surveyor. Said map is hereby referred to and by reference made a part
hereof to the same force and effect as if set out herein or attached hereto.
4. That the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited.
5. That the reason for the proposed annexation is to obtain and provide
sewer service for the territory proposed to be annexed.
6. That the territory to be annexed is entirely located within Orange
County, California.
7. That the names of all the affected districts are as follows:

Orange County Flood Control District

County Library District
Metropolitan Water District
Santa Ana School District
8. That the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
respectfully requests the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County,
California, to institute proceedings for the annexation of the above
described territory to said District.
9. That it is further requested that the said Local Agency Formation
Commission order pursuant to the provisions of Section 56261 of the Government
Code of California that this annexation be approved without notice and hearing
by the Commission and approve and authorize the Board of Directors of the
Costa Mesa Sanitary District to annex such territory without notice and
hearing by the Board of Directors and without election.
10. That attached hereto is evidence of consent and request directed
to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District signed by all of the owners of the land
which is in such territory proposed to be annexed.
11. That the owners who signed said attached consent and request are
hereby found to be the owners of 100% of the land described above.
12. That the proposed terms and conditions to which the proposed
annexation is desired to be subject are described as follows:
That all annexation fees be paid to the District prior to this
annexation becoming effective.

COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
ENGINEERS NO. 200
That Portion of Tract 10876 as shown on a Map recorded in Book 486, Pages
1 - 7 of Miscellaneous Maps of Orange County, California, in the city of
Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Sunflower Avenue
and Hyland Avenue, said intersection also being the southeast corner of
Engineers No. 170 Annexation to-the Costa Mesa Sanitary District; thence
North 10 14" 55" West, 40.00 feet along the centerline of Hyland Avenue
to the beginning of a curve concave Southwesterly and having a radius of
600.00 feet; thence Northerly and Northwesterly 382.17 feet along said..
curve and said centerline of Hyland Avenue, through a central angle of 361
29' 42" to a point of reverse curve, concave northeasterly and having a
radius of 600.00 feet, a radial to said point bears North 520 15' 30" East;
thence Northwesterly 98.15 feet along said curve and said centerline,
through a central angle of 90 22' 23" to a point on a nontangent line said line
also being the South line of Engineers No. 43 Annexation, a radial to said
point bears South 610 37' 46,- West;thence departing from said curve and
said centerline of Hyland Avenue North 880 50' 53" East, 261.09 feet along
said nontangent line and said South line of Engineers No. 43 to the Northwest
corner of Engineers No. 64 Annexation; thence departing from said South line,
South 1° 13' 20" East, 479.89 feet along the West line of Engineers No. 64
to the North line of Engineers No. 163 Annexation, said North line also
being the centerline of Sunflower Avenue; thence departing from said West line
South 88° 50' 53" West 91.54 feet along said North line of Engineers No. 163
