A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA
SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, MAKING
APPLICATION TO THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION OF
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY
TO THE DISTRICT, BEING ENGINEER'S NO. 194.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District, Orange County, California, desires to initiate proceedings
for the annexation of the hereinafter described territory to said
District;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District of Orange County, California, does hereby resolve,
determine and order as follows:
1. That this application is being filed pursuant to the
provisions of Division 1 of Title 6 of the Government Code of the
State of California for the purpose of proposing the annexation of
below described property to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District.
2. That the territory proposed to be annexed contains
.807 acres and is contiguous to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
and the territory proposed to be included in and annexed to said
Sanitary District is specifically described in Exhibit "A" which
is attached hereto and made a part hereof, consisting of one
typewritten sheets and a map.
3, That a map showing said boundaries together with a copy
of the above legal description has heretofore been filed with the
Orange County Surveyor and with the Commission and has been found
to be definite and certain by the Orange County Surveyor. Said
map is hereby referred to and by reference made a part hereof to
the same force and effect as if set out herein or attached hereto.
4. That the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited.
5. That the reason for the proposed annexation is to obtain
and provide sewer service for the territory proposed to be annexed.
6, That the territory to be annexed is entirely located
within Orange County, California,
7. That the names of all the affected districts are as follows:
County Sanitation District No 7
Orange County Flood Control District
Harbor District
Mosquito Abatement District
County Library District
Metropolitan Water District
Santa Ana School District
8. That the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District respectfully requests the Local Agency Formation Commission
of Orange County, California, to institute proceedings for the
annexation of the above described territory to said District.
9. That it is further requested that the said Local Agency
Formation Commission order pursuant to the provisions of Section 56261
of the Government Code of California that this annexation be approved
without notice and hearing by the Commission and approve and autho-
rize the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District to
annex such territory without notice and hearing by the Board of
Directors and without election.
10- That attached hereto is evidence of consent and request
directed to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District signed by all of the owners
of the land which is in such territory proposed to be annexed.
11, That the owners who signed said attached consent and request
are hereby found to be the owners of 100% of the land described above,
12 That the proposed terms and conditions to which the pro-
posed annexation is desired to be subject are described as follows:
That all annexation fees be paid to the District prior to
this annexation becoming effective•.

Annexation to the
Costa Mesa Sanitary District
Engineers No. 194
All that certain territory in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange,
State of California, being all of Parcel 2 as shown on a map filed in Book
142, Pages 48 and 49 of Parcel Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of
said county more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary line of the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District per "Engineers No. 59" and "Engineers No. 68 " said
point being distant N. 00 04' 40" E., 50.00 feet from the southerly terminus
of that certain course described as "North Co 39' 28" West 356.0 feet" in
said Engineers No. 68, said point also being 50.00 feet northerly of the
centerline of Ad;: mn Avvnuc, n:: nhown on maid Weal Map;
Thence along said existing boundary line per said Engineers No. 68 and
Lng;in8ers No. 107 through the following courses: S. 00 04' 40" W., 50.00 feet,
N. 89 55' 20" W., 43.01 feet, to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
southerly and having a radius of 1000.00 feet; thence westerly along said
curve, through e central angle of 20 29' 47" an arc distance of 43.57 feet, a
radial line of said curve to said point bears N. 20 25' 07" W.;
Thence non - tangent to said curve S. 00 04' 40" W., 50.23 feet to a point
on the southerly right of way line of said Adams Avenue, said point being on a
curve concave southerly and having a radius of 950.00 feet, a radial line of
said last mentioned curve to said point bears N. 20 42' 06" W.;
Thence Leaving said existing boundary line and along said last mentioned
curve through a central angle of 30 24' 53" an arc distance of 56.62 feet: to
the northeasterl9 corner of said Parcel 2, a radial line of said curve to said
point bears N. 6 06' 59" W.;
Thence leaving said last mentioned right of way line and along the
easterly line of said Parcel 2,S. 00 05' 40" W., 162.38 feet to the south-
easterly corner thereof;
Thence aluag the moutherly line of said Parcel 20. 090 55' 20" W.,
139.00 feet'to the southwesterly corner thereof;
Thence along the westerly line of said Parcel 2,and its northerly
prolongation,N. 00 05.' 40" E., 268.03 feet to a point in said existing
boundary line per said "Engineers No. 59 ";
Thence along said existing boundary line S: 890 55' 20" E., 281.97 feet
to the Point of Beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 1.089 acres.
