A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, I';:'JaNG APPLICATION TO THE LOCAL AGENCY
FORMATION COM ISSION OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE ANNEXATION OF
TERRITORY.TO THE DISTRICT.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA DESA SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FtOLLCJS :
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District,
Orange County, California, desires to initiate proceedings for the annexation
of the hereinafter described territory to said District;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
of Orange County, California, does hereby resolve, determine and order as
follows:
1. That this application is being,filed pursuant to the provisions of
- Division l of Title 6 of the Government Code of the State of California for the
purpose of proposing the annexation of below described property to the Costa
Mesa Sanitary_ District.
2. That. the territory proposed to be annexed contains 0. 569 acres and
is contiguous to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District and the territory proposed to
be included in and annexed to said Sanitary District is specifically described
in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a.part hereof., consisting of
two typewritten sheets and a map.
3. That a map showing said boundaries together with a copy of the above
legal'description has heretofore been filed with the Orange County Surveyor and
with the Ccnraission and has been found to be definite and certain by the Orange
County Surveyor. Said map is hereby referred to and by reference made a part
hereof to the same force and effect as if set out herein or attached hereto.
4. That the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited.
5. That the reason for the proposed annexatti.on is to obtain and provide
sewer service for the territory proposed to be annexed.
6. That the territory to be annexed is entirely located within Orange
County, California.
7. That the nanpas of all the affected districts are as follows:
County Sanitation District No. 7
Orange County Flood Control District
Harbor District
Nbsquito Abatement District
County Library District
Metropolitan Water District.
Santa Ana School District
8. That the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
respectfully requests the Local Agency Formation Camel ssion of Orange County,
California', to institute proceedings for the annexation of the above
described territory to said District.
9. That it is further requested that the said Local Agency Formation
Conrai.ssion order pursuant to the provisions of Section 56261 of the Goverrunent
Code of California that this annexation be approved without notice and hearing
by the Commission and approve and authorize the Board of Directors of the
Costa Mesa Sanitary District to annex such territory without notice and
hearing by the Board of Directors and without election.
10. That attached hereto is evidence of consent and request directed
to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District signed by all.of the owners of the land
which is in such territory proposed to be annexed.
11. That the owners who signed said attached consent and request are
hereby found to be the owners of 1000 of the land described above.
12. That the proposed terms and conditions to which the proposed
annexation is desired to be subject are described as follows:
That all annexation fees be paid to the District prior to this
annexation becoming effective.
