RESOLUTION NO. 73 -261
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA
MESA SANITARY DISTRICT ADOPTING A PREVAILING WAGE
RATE PURSUANT TO SECTION 1.773 OF THE LABOR CODE OF
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa. Sanitary District
does hereby resolve as follows:
THAT WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773
of the Labor Code of the State of California, it is necessary that
the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District ascertain
and determine the general prevailing rates of wages for public works;
and the provisions of said Code make it mandatory upon the awarding
body of any public contract, where said body subsequently calls for
bids for any public improvements, to ascertain and determine the
general prevailing rates of hourly wages in the locality in which
the work is to be performed for each craft or type of work needed
to execute the contract and the general prevailing rates for legal

holiday and overtime work in each craft or type of work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of
the Costa Mesa Sanitary District that the general prevailing rates
of hourly wages in the Costa Mesa Sanitary District for each craft
or type of work needed to execute contracts and the general prevailing
rate of legal holiday and overtime work for each craft or type of
work are as follows, effective as of the 3rd day of January, 1973,
unless otherwise noted, as it hereinafter appears in an exhibit marked
"Exhibit A" attached to this Resolution and by this reference made
a part hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 3rd day of January, 1973.

Costa Mesa Sanitary District of Orange County, California, DO HEREBY
CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution, being Resolution No. 73 -261,
was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Board, approved and
signed by the President of said Board, and attested by the Secretary
of said Board, all at a regular meeting of said Board held on the
3rd day of January, 1973, and that the same was passed and adopted
by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Directors - Rima, Warren, Briggs, and Porter
NOES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Directors - Glockner
