RESOLUTION NO. 71 -243A
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, COMMENDING
GEORGE MADSEN FOR HIS LONG YEARS OF CONTIN-
UOUS AND LOYAL SERVICE AS MANAGER OF THE
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, WISHING HIM
WELL ON FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRIC'
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THAT WHEREAS, George Madsen has been employed by the
City of Costa Mesa in its Engineering Department continuously
since August 1, 1960; and
WHEREAS, as a portion of his assigned duties he was the
Director of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District for a portion of that
time; and
WHEREAS, George Madsen has performed his duties energet-
ically, conscientiously and loyally and with the imagination and
foresight necessary to forward the purposes of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District; and
WHEREAS, George Madsen is leaving the employ of the City
of Costa Mesa to enter into priviate engineering practice and at
the same time, will leave his position as Manager of the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, George Madsen be
commended for his fine loyal service as Manager of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT, the good wishes of all of
the members of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District Board of Directors
and its staff, go with Mr. Madsen in his new -_ enterprise.
BE IT FINALLY`RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution
signed by the President of the Board of Directors of the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District and the Secretary be forwarded to George
Madsen for his personal files and archives.
