Tract 1678 and the Howard Tract 1663 be fixed

bills be rendered both parties on that basis

Petition for Annexation of_Tra,,t 1872 was presented for Hearing in ac-
cordance with published notice, and there being no protest filed-or
present, it was moved by Director Norman seconded by Director Lord
7 that such annexation be accepted. motion carried.

The matter of broken manhole cover in Newport Boulevard, State Highway
was referred to Engineer Bulot, with authority to have the defective
cover replaced.
Director Meyers was designated to select other directors available
and act as a committee to examine the work performed by Engineer
Bulot under contract dated June 14th 1951, Section 4, drawings and
as -built house connection records.
Moved by Director Meyers seconded by Director Nelson that the retainer
fee to be paid Engineer Bulot for the month of July 1953 be fixed at
$200 00. Motion carried.
Engineer Messing presented complete tracings covering as -built sewer
system, in accordance with terms of contract with Francis H Bulot
dated November 7th 1946.

Contractor Kenneth C Price appeared before the Board and the matter
of future arrangements and operation of garbage and trash collection
discussed. Mr Price was complimented by the President and members of the
Board upon the character of service provided past and present.
°��,Q.�' It was mutually agreed that Mr Price would submit a proposal for

�-�' continuance of such service at the expiration of current contract, at
next regular meeting of the Board.
Secretary announced that Board of Equalization meeting as fixed by law
would fall on July 6th 1953, and stated that while the assessment rolls
would not be available at that time, he would call and adjourn such
meeting until further notice.
