A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,
COMMENDING HARLEM BOGART, RETIRING
DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT, FOR HIS YEARS
OF LOYAL AND INVALUABLE SERVICE.
The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District, does hereby resolve as follows:
THAT WHEREAS, District Superintendent Harley
Bogart, has been continuously serving the District as
District Superintendent since 1963; and
WHEREAS, said Harley Bogart has been in full
charge of all sewer maintenance and operation for the
District, during the aforementioned period; and
WHEREAS, he has stood eveready day and night
through fair weather and storm through emergency and
catastrophe, to personally supervise and participate
in keeping all of the District's facilities in con-
tinuous and functional operation; and
WHEREAS, said Bogart placed the welfare of
the District and its continuous and uninterrupted
operation above his personal life and personal inter-
ests, at all times; and
WHEREAS, by reason of his devoted attention,
skill, loyalty and interest, the District has prospered
and improved, all for the benefit of the persons served
by District facilities; and
WHEREAS, he has shown great skill and patience
and infinite wisdom in the handling of complaints from
the public, with respect to all of the District functions
with particular emphasis on the public Relations, attention
necessary to the trash collection function of the Distriet;and

WHEREAS, his expert and valuable services will
be missed bj-%not forgotten by the Board of Directors of
this District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board
of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, enth-
usiastically commends Harley Bogart, for his years of
service as District Superintendent.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Board wishes
Harley Bogart a wealth of success and satisfaction on
his future endeavors, in his new home in Oregon.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that a copy of this
Resolution be made a part of the permanent records of
the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, and that a signed copy
of this Resolution be presented to Harley Bogart for his
personal files.
