Reso 1966-177FOLLOWS: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -177 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, COMMENDING AND THANKING PAUL NORMAN FOR MANY YEARS OF DEVOTED SERVICE TO THE DISTRICT. THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT DOES RESOLVE AS WHEREAS, H. Paul Norman was elected as one of the original Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District on February 18, 1944; and WHEREAS, H. Paul Norman has served as a Board Member continually and without interruption of service from February of 1944 until October of 1966; and WHEREAS, Paul Norman declined to file and run for another term, thus leaving a vacancy in his posi'L-.ien as the oldest remaining Board Member in time of service; e_nd WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Sanitary District de::i res to commend said H. Paul Norman for 22 years and 8 months of service; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved: 1. That the Board offer its wholehearted thanks, appreciation, and commendation to H. Paul Norman for his 22 years and 8 months of continuous and meritorious service as a member of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District. 2. That H. Paul Norman be commended for his tireless and energetic work on behalf of the Sanitary District, urging and fighting for annexations and installation of additional and continuous services; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that H. Paul Norman be commended for his tireless struggle on behalf of the Board for equal and fair tax rates for those served by the Costa Mesa Sanitary District; and BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that this Board wholeheartedly wishes H.
