roll together with budget
requirements,
and it was agreed that
the same method and procedure
heretofore
and in previous years followed
in arriving at assessed
valuations
by the District be used this
current year.

The case involving truck drivers for cross -over driving on.Harbor
boulevard was explained by Attorney Anderson for information of the
Board and the incident closed pending any developments affecting the
District of cross -over driving in residential streets.
It was moved by Director Nelson seconded by Director Lord that
Attorney Anderson arrange with the Republic Construction Corporation
to furnish bond covering sewer construction in Tract 1713. Cwried
It was moved by Director Lord seconded by Director Meyers that
sewer construction within Tract 1678, (Holstein) be accepted.
Motion, carried.
Moved by Director Lord seconded by Director Meyers that sewer
construction in Tract 1663, (Howard, Lot198 etc) be accepted and
Secretary directed to address a letter to owners signifying such
acceptance. Motion carried.
Engineer Messing presented the question of additional footage of
sewer main to serve Signal Oil property in conjunction with
mortuary property on Broadway, at cost of $190 00, explaining
need and conditions. Moved by Director Lord seconded by Director
Meyers that same be authorized. Motion carried.
On motion by Director Nelson seconded by Director Meyers action
on letter proposal of Engineer Francis H Bulot for extension of
present retainer at $200 00 per month from July lst, was postponed
until next regular meeting.
