RESOLUTI ON OF 'THE BOARD OF DI RECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA
SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, COMMEND-
ING DON. SOUTHWORTH FOR.MERITORIOUS SERVICE AS ENGINEER
FOR THE BOARD.
THE.BoARD`OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
DOES HEREBY, RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Don Southworth was the Engineer active and
in.strumen.tal. in the development and expansion of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District since 1954; and
WHEREAS, said Southworth has faithfully and continuously
represented.sai*d District in all of its engineering matters from
the,date of his employment until the present; and
WHEREAS, said Southworth has conducted all design of sewer
systems constructed within said District for the last 13 years
and prepared all engineering materials for annexations; and
WHEREAS, said Southworth has been instrumental in the
handling of all'engineering matters relating to bonded indebted-
ness in improvement districts;
NOW-, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that DON SOUTHWORTH, the
Engineer for the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, upon his retirement
be whole- heartedly and highly commended for his high professional
standards and leadership in representing the District in the
aforesaid matters.
BE IT_.FURTHER RESOLVED that said DON SOUTHWORTH be also
commended and congratulated upon his retirement from active
engineering services and public life and that this Board offers
its best wishes for a happy and leisurely future for said
DON SOUTHWORTH in connection with whatever travels, activities
^� pursuits he may follow in his leisure.
