A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA
SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, RECITING
THE FACTS OF THE ELECTION HELD IN SAID DISTRICT ON THE
16TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1958•
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 69 of the Board of Directors of the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District, adopted on the 7th day of August, 1958, called and gave
notice of an election to be held in the Costa Mesa Sanitary District of Orange
County, California, on the 16th day of September, 1958, for the purpose of
electing three (3) members of the Board of Directors of said District, for
the full terms provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the following candidates were duly and regularly nominated
for the three (3) vacancies on the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sani-
tary District to be filled by said election:

WHEREAS, notice of said election and of the nominees was duly given,
for the time and in the manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, said election was duly.and regularly held on the 16th day
of September, 1958, in the time, form, and manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, the Board did, on the 26th day of September, 1958, count
and canvass the absentee ballots, as prescribed by law; and did also canvass
the returns of said election on this date; and
WHEREAS, the returns from each of the election precincts at said
election, and the results of the canvass of the absentee b allots,.are as
hereinafter set forth:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that upon the canvassing of said re-
turns, and the counting and canvassing of the absentee ballots, this Board of
Directors finds, determines and declares as follows:
1. That a total of 1,992 votes was cast at said election for
the filling of three (3) vacant seats on the Board of Directors of the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District. The candidates receiving the highest votes, and the
total number of votes cast for each, are as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Board of Directors hereby finds
and declares that ARTHUR H. MEYERS, H. PAUL NORMAN AND ELLIS PORTER are the
three'(3) candidates receiving the highest number of votes and they are hereby
declared elected to the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
of Orange County, California.
