Reso 1958-69- -- _,'A RESOLUTION NO. 69 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF :DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF AN ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID DIS- TRICT ON TUESDAY, THE.I6TH.DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1958, FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN OFFICERS OF SAID- DISTRICT, AS_REQUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA RELATING TO SANITARY DISTRICTS ORGANIZED UNDER THE SANITARY DISTRICT ACT OF 1923• WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to Sanitary Dis- tricts organized under the"Sanitary District Act of 19235" an election of offi- cers shall. be held on the 16th day of September for the election of three (3) members of the Board of - Directors of said.-District., for the full terms pro- vided by law. NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF 'DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA. MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDEER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the State of California relating to Sanitary Districts organized under the "Sanitary Dis- trict Act of 1923, " there shall be, and there is hereby called and ordered held in the Sanitary District of Orange County, California, on Tuesday-, the 16th day of September, 1958, a regular election of the qualified electors of said Dis- trict for the purpose of electing three (3) members of the Board of :Directors of said District for the full terms prescribed by law. SECTION 2. That the ballots to be used at said election shall be, both as to form and matter contained therein, such as may be required by law to be used thereat. SECTION 3. That the Secretary of said District is hereby authorized, instructed and directed to procure and furnish any and all official ballots, notices, printed matter and all supplies, equipment and paraphernalia that may be necessary in order to properly and lawfully conduct said election. SECTION 4. That for the purpose of holding said election, there shall be nine ,(9) voting precincts within the said District consisting of consolida- tions of the regular election precincts established for holding State and County elections. The respective precincts, polling places of said respective precincts, and the respective boards of election for said respective. - p=recincts are hereby fixed, designated, appointed and established as follows: CONSOLIDATED VOTING PRECINCT NO. 1, comprising County Precincts ( or portions thereof lying within the District) designated as follows: Costa Mesa Nots.3, 5, 10, 11, 17; Newport Beach No. 45. That all of the persons hereinabove named as election officers are hereby appointed as such election officers, respectively, and their compensation is hereby fixed at the sum of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) for each inspector, and Twelve Dollars ($12.00) for each Judge and Clerk, for said elec- tion. The rental for each of such polling places, where a charge is made, shall be the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) for said election. SECTION 6. That the polls for said election shall be open at seven o'clock in the morning (7:00 A.M.) of the day of said election, and shall re- main open continuously from said time until seven o'clock in the evening (7:00 P.M.) of the same day, when said polls shall be closed, except as provided in Section 5734 of the Elections Code of the State of California. SECTION 7. That in all particulars not recited in this Resolution, said election shall be held and-conducted as provided by law for holding elec- tions in Sanitary Mi.stricts organized pursuant to the "Sanitary District Act of 1923." SECTION 8. That notice of the time and place of holding said election is hereby given and the Secretary of said District is hereby authorized, instruc- ted and directed to .give such further or additional notice of said election as is required by law. That the Secretary shall certify to the passage and adop- tion of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original-Resolu- tions of said District; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption there- of in the records of the proceedings of the .
