RESOLUTION NO, 69 -220
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA
SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, OVER- RULING
PROTESTS TO THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR TRASH COLLECTION,
MODIFYING THE REPORT ON FILE WITH THE CLERK AND ADOPTING
SAID REPORT AS MODIFIED,
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,
OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, HEREBY RESOLVES -AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Sanitary District finds and declares
an .Ordinance providing for the collection of charges of general
taxes pursuant to Section 5473 of the Health and Safety Code was
passed and adopted on the 5th day of.June, 1968 at a regular
meeting of said Board; and
WHEREAS, thereafter a public hearing was set for the 30th
day of July 1969, to be heard in the Council Chambers.of the
City of Costa Mesa at 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, California at the
hour of 7:30 P.M.; and.
WHEREAS, the Clerk has caused notice of said hearing to be
published in a newspaper of general circulation within the district
pursuant to Section 6066 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the Board has found and determined that 15,941
assessor's parcels are being considered in connection with this
.hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Board finds and declares that written objections
and -those parties objecting in person do not constitute the owners
of.a majority of the separate parcels of property described in the
report; and
WHEREAS, after hearing all objections pursuant to Section
5473.2 of the Health and Safety Code; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the objections lodged in person and in
writing at the time of the hearing, the Board may find it necessary
to revise, change and modify certain charges on certain classes of
property..
NOW, THEREFORE,'BE IT RESOLVED that the protests lodged in

person and in writing at the time of the public hearing are
numerically insufficient to constitute the owners of a majority
of the separate parcels of propPrty.oescribed in the report and
are hereby overruled.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the'modifications, if any, in sai
report are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the report as and if modified,
revised and changed is hereby adopted.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Clerk be instructed to file
a .copy of the report with the County Auditor prior to the
10th day of August, 1969.
