RESOLUTION NO. 68-194.
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.OF THE COSTA
MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,.ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING IN PRINCIPLE THE ANNEXATION KNOWN.AS
PALISADES NO. 2 TO THE CITY OF COSTA MESA NOW BEFORE
THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa has heretofore filedan
annexation .known as Palisades No. 2 before the Local Agency
Formation Commission; and
WHEREAS, said territory is within the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District; and
WHEREAS,' said annexation appears to this Board to be a
natural and logical addition to the City of Costa Mesa for the
supplying of such services as are necessary in the area.
NOW1 THEREFORE,. BE IT RESOLVED that the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District Board of Directors approve in principle the proposed
annexation of Palisades Annexation No. 2 to the City of Costa
Mesa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of April, 1968
