Minutes of regulat meeting of Board of Directors
of Costa Mesa Sanitary District, held at 2057 (Rear)
Newport Avenue, Costa Mesa California October 4th 1951
Present: Directors Nelson, Lord, Norman, Meyers
Absent: Director TeWinkle.
Present: Attorney Leroy P Anderson, Engineer Francis H Bulot,
Secretary- Project Manager F B Owen
::;Director C M Nelson named Temporary Chairman in absence of
President TeWinkle.
Minutes of meeting September 6th read and approved.
Following bills were read and upon motion by Lord seconded by
Meyers, ordered paid.

Overtime Report, August 17th to September 13th, presented by
Contractor, certified by Engineer Bulot, on motion by Norman,
seconded by Lord, accepted.
ENGINEERfS REPORT:
Certain changes in location mains south of
15th street, from Bolsa street to alleys. Moved by Meyers
seconded by Lord that changes be authorized. Carried.

Moved by Lord, seconded by Norman that same be authorized. Carried.
Bill of Contractor for sawing pavement presented and discussed. It
appearing that this expenditure was in conformity with a requirement
imposed by the County and npt a District obligation or requirement, a
motion made by Director Meyers, seconded by Lord, was lost by unani-
mous vote. This motion was to the effect that the bill be accepted
and paid by the District. Lost.
Ordinance No 1 relating to type of material required in house
plumbing connection, discussed. No action. Would involve changes in
standards adopted by Board.
Right -of -Way for sewer mains on State Highway depending upon permit
to Sanitation District No 6, explained. Application by Sanitation
District No 6 for such Permit in course of submis•s.ion to State
Engineers.
Director Nelson for Sanitation District No 6 reported on develop-
ments to date in Executive and Boards meetings.
