Newport Avenue, Costa Mesa California,September 21st 1950

Present: Directors TeWinkle, Nelson, Lord, Norman and Meyers
Attorney Anderson, Engineer Bulot and Secretary Owen
Collector Jas S Jphnson and Mr Kenneth Price
Meeting called to order at 7:30 P M by President TeWinkle
James S Johnson appeared before the Board and announced necessi-
ty for termination of present contract dated December 28th 1949,
due to his having been called to military duty, and asked to be
relieved of duties under such contract as of October lst 1950.
Upon motion by Nelson seconded by Norman his request was granted.
Mr.Kenneth Price submitted proposal to take over and assume the
existing contract with said Johnson, and upon further motion by Nelsc
seconded by Lord transfer of contract from and by Jas S Johnson
to Kenneth Price was approved and Attorney Anderson requested
to perfect details of transfer.
Canvass of Election Returns
Returns of General Election held September 18th 1950 were
presented by Secretary and upon canvass of same by members
of the Board present, the following results were announced:
Total ballots cast 61
For Director Full Term:
Wm E Lord 6o
H Paul Norman 56
Arthur H Meyers 58
Whereupon the President declared the election of said Vim E
Lord, H Paul Norman and Arthur H Meyers as directors ofCosta
1VIesa Sanitary District for the full term of four years and
Secretary instructed to deliver Certificates of Election
accordingly.
Following bills for Election Board were read and upon motion
by Nelson seconded by Norman same ordered paid.

Engineer made brief oral report on progress of plans to enable
bids by December 1st 1950
Attorney Anderson stated would obtain necessary copies of
�1L ; records at Court House first of next week and have ready for
delivery to OlMelveny & Myers last of that week. Necessary
that he spend so e time at Court House to obtain same.
