of Board of Equalization, held August 3rd,
3journed from July 6th 1950, convened August
7 :40 P M, with the following Directors present
as Board of Equalization on assessment for
tax year.
Directors TeXinkle, Nelson, Dodd, Lord and Norman. Assessor Hostetler
and Secretary Owen and Attorney Anderson.
Assessor Hostetler presented the 1950 -51 Assessment Roll containing
District valuations as prepared by Assessor.
No tax payer or other person appeared before the Board.
The total valuation as arrived at by Assessor was $6 334 500 00.
The Board fixed the valuation for Utilities at $65 500~00, making
a total valuation of $6 40o o00 00.
Upon examination and with few minor changes, on motion by Dodd, seconded
by Lord, the Assessment Roll for 1950 -51 was accepted, approved and the
Assessor directed to deliver same to County Auditor for completion.
Board adjourned.

Minutes of Regular Meeting of Board of
Directors Costa Mesa Sanitary District
held at 2057 (Rear) Newport Avenue, Costa
Mesa, California, August 3rd 1950.
Present: Directors TeWinkle, Nelson, Dodd, Lord and Norman
Attorney Anderson, Engineer Bulot and Secretary Owen
Meeting called to order at 7;30 P M by President TeWinkle.
Assessor Hostetleb being present with assessment rolls, meeting was
recessed to convene as Board of Equalization and was reconvened as
regular Board meeting at 8:30 P M same date.
Minutes of regular meeting July 6th readaand approved.
Minutes of Special Meeting July 24th read and approved.
The following bills were read and upon motion by Lord seconded by
Norman, ordered paid.

Engineer Bulot presented Progress Report on Plan Preparation work
under Second Advance per contract dated April 19th 1950. There
being no objection same was accepted and ordered filed.
Moved by Norman seconded by Nelson that an amount sufficient to meet
payments under contract with Engineer Francis H Bulot, dated April
19th 1950, pending completion of contract and receipt of final
payment under Advance File Application 4 -P -1016, such sum not to
exceed $8000 00, be transferred from Running Expense Fundto Plan -
ning Fund, same to be repaid upon receipt of final payment under
such Advance. Carried.
Moved by Lord seconded by Norman that the tax rate for the year 1950 -51
be fixed at 33 cents per $100 00 District valuation and ordered so
reported to County Auditor. Carried.

On motion by Nelson seconded by Dodd and carried the meeting was n
adjourned to 8 otclock P TJ August 22nd when it will convene as
canvassing board on returns of Special Bond Election held August 15th
1950.
Meeting adjourned to 8 otclock P M August 22nd, 1950.
