Meeting called to order by President TeWinkle at 7:30 p.m.

Letter from Governor's O Tice advising signing of Senate Bill
164 by Governor Warren u lverning �14th, 1949, providing representation
of Sanitary Districts on body of Sanitation District ,
read.
Moved by Lord, seconded by Nelson that tax rate for year
1949 -50 be fixed at 35 cents per 6100.00 valuation. Carried.
Moved by Nelson, seconded by Lord, that President and
Secretary be empowered to purchase adding machine and type-
writer when and if deemed necessary. Carried*
Possible annexation of Parcels 2 and 4 and portions of 7
further discussed and Secretary allowed further time for
investigation and suggestions.
Secretary Owen reported on attendance Sanitation District
District meetings July 7th 13th, 27th. Also conversation with
Mr. Ewald Lempke, General tanager,J.0 *8. at office of
District July 29th. -Also telephone conversation with Engineer
Bulot,.assessed valuations for bond purposes and status
B.9.A.A.B.Sewer. lines, Mr. Bulot to contact Mr. Seckels,
Engineer for Federal Works Agency.
