MINUTES OF INVESTMENT OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE MEETING
MAY 9, 2002
CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 5:31 p.m. by Director
Worthington.
ROLL CALL Committee Members Present:
Mr. Marc Puckett, Treasurer
Mr. Rob Harriers, District Manager
Director Dan Worthington (rotating committee member)
Director Art Perry (rotating committee member)
Director Arlene Schaefer (observer)

TREASURER'S REPORT FOR MARCH, 2002
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Puckett presented the Treasurer's Report and discussed the
recent investing activity of the District. Discussion followed.
CMSD FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Mr. Puckett discussed the CMSD financial statements. It was
indicated that the financial statements would be a standing agenda
item on the committee agendas to provide committee members an
opportunity to ask more detailed questions regarding the financial
statements if they so desired.
OCIP INVESTMENTS
Mr. Puckett indicated that the Orange County Investment Pool has
not been used for investment purposes at this point due to the fact
that the pool continues to underperform the Local Agency
Investment Fund managed by the State Treasurer's Office. This
• underperformance occurs as a result of differing investment
objectives and characteristics between the two pools.
