Minutes of special Meeting of
Board of Directors of Costa Mesa
Sanitary District required by law
and fixed by notice published July
1st and 8th for the purpose of Hear-
ing on Petitions for Annexation
published in 'josta Mesa Globe Herald

Directorb present: TeWinkle, Nelson and Lord.
Attorney Anderson and Secretary Owen.
Meeting called to order by President TeWinkle at 9 p.m.
President stated purpose of meeting.
Petitions for Annexation of Parcels 5 and 6
presented and call for those desiring to be
heard issued by President. There being no
response and no one appearing as interested
party, at 9:30 p.m. it was moved by Director
Nelson, seconded by Director Lottd, that Parcels
5 and 6 as described in respective Petitions be
accepted for annexation and that proper Order
issue effecting such acceptance and presentation
td Board of Supervisors. Motion carried, and
Resolution per copy attached to and made a part
of these Minutes thereby adopted.
Meeting adjourned.

Attorney Anderson reported on outcome of conference of
himself and Engineer Bulot with Bond Attorneys,O'Melveny
& Myers as to nature and extent of Engineering data requ#r-ed
r
to
by Bond Attorneys relating to territory annexed to original
District and not included in original plans and estimates
nade under agreement with Federal Works Agency upon which
to base inclusion of sued annexed areas -in bond proposal
the conclusion of such conference being that for the purposes
of bond attorneys and approval of a bond issue covering
original and annexed territory only a pencil sketch together
with preliminary estimates of cost covering annexed territory
as extensions of original plans and estimate's would be
required.
That Bond Attorneys strongly recommends not longer age
than 30 years for bond issue and suggest the possibility of
even less with a schedule of retirement on graduated scale
somewhat as follows, based on a.n issue of $825,000.00.
