Scavenging : In the month of June , there were two cal ls for service made to District H eadquarters to report scavenging activity. Scavenging was reported at 132 Virginia Place on 06/18/14 and 900 Evergreen Place on 06/30/14 . Both suspected violators were gone upon my arrival. However, I initiated a proactiv e stop of a scavenger in the area of Wilson and Newport 06/25/14 who matched the description of the subject who was at 132 Virginia Place on 06/25/14. Subject was advised and dispatched without incident. Additional areas and times w h ere scavenging was observed by the OEO: DATE TIME ADDRESSES Citation Issued 06/25/14 11:20am Wilson and Newport No Board of Directors June 6 , 201 4 Trash Container Enforcement : In the month of June , there w ere 3 customer complaints repo rted to the District Headquarters regarding trash bins in p ublic view . T wo customers reported various location s throughout the City which have been addressed. One customer reported overflowing tr ash on the 3000 block of Pierce. I contacted a worker at the location and advised her to have the owner order an addit ional cart to prevent future overflow if necessary. The following is a list of locations where trash cart violations were found and addressed by the Courtesy Notice process. Total Cases: 123 The following locations received First Warnings: (1) New Hamp shire. Storage of carts in public view. (1) Rhode Island. Storage of carts in public view. (7) Governor. All violations are for storage of carts in public view. (6) Congress. 5 are for storage of carts in public view, 1 out too early. (14) Pomona. 11 for storage of carts in public view, 3 for failure to retrieve. (11) Puente. 1 is for storage of carts in public view, 1 out too early. (5) Senate. All violations are for storage of carts in public view. (2) Tustin. All violations are for storage o f carts in public view. (1) Tern. All violations are for storage of carts in public view. (18) Ogle Street. 18 for storage of carts in public view. 4 for failure to retrieve. (21) 16 th Place. All violations are for storage of carts in public view. (5 ) Orange. All violations are for storage of carts in public view. (1) Santa Ana. All violations are for storage of carts in public view. (2) Fuchsia. Storage of carts in public view.
