Scavenging : In the month of April , there two calls for service made to District Headquarters to report scavenging activity. Scavenging was reported at 2348 Rutgers Drive and 253 Cabrillo Street. I made contact with the reporting party regarding the complaint at 2348 Rutgers Drive. The suspected individual was gone on arrival. However, I did make contact with another scavenger that the caller told me about. A stern warning was given to the individual. I was unable to locate the suspected violator(s) at 253 Cabrillo Street. I will increase patrols of the area. We discussed their internal graffiti abatement procedures and I also obtained his information for future referrals of graffiti to their containers. Trash Container Enforcement : In the month of April , there w ere 10 lo cation complaints repo rted to the District Headquarters regarding trash bins in p ublic view . I made a visit to the following address:  753 Scott Place: No violation observed.  767 Scott Place: No violation observed.  793 Scott Place: Made contact with residents, complied.  1053 Santa Cruz Circle: Posted violation notice on property, complied.  1056 Santa Cruz Circle: Posted violation notice on cart, complied.  1059 Santa Cruz Circle: Posted violation notice on cart, complied.  2907 Baker Street: No viol ations observed.  232 Ogle Street: Posted violation notice on cart , complied.  974 Governor: Posted violation notice on property, pending.  268 Knox Street: Made contact with resident, complied. I will follow up on the properties that are pending comp liance as well as make patrol checks of the ones who have complied to ensure continued compliance.
