Contract - Kaplan - 2014-02-26 SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT AND KAPLAN CONSULTING FOR COMPOSTING AND
VERMINCOMPISTING PRESENTATIONS WORKSHOPS
SECOND AMENDMENT to Agreement between the Costa Mesa Sanitary District and Kaplan
Consulting for composting and vermincomposting presentation workshops ("AGREEMENT") is made and
entered into this 26th day of February, 2014, by and between the Costa Mesa Sanitary District,
hereinafter referred to as DISTRICT, and Kaplan Consulting, hereinafter referred to as CONSULTANT.
WITNESSETH: •
WHEREAS, on February 17, 2012, the DISTRICT and CONSULTANT entered into AGREEMENT for
composting and vermincomposting presentation workshops; and

WHEREAS, the Agreement expired on February 14, 2013 and the First Amendment to the
Agreement was sign on February 25, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the First Amendment expires on February 25, 2014 and the DISTRICT and
CONSULTANT desire to extend the Agreement from February 26, 2014 to June 30, 2015, as provided
hereinafter.
NOW,THEREFORE,the Agreement is amended as of the date hereof as follows:
1. The term is this Agreement shall commence on February 26, 2014, and shall.
remain and continue in effect until tasks described herein are completed and shall terminate on
June 30, 2015, unless sooner terminated pursuant to the provisions of the Agreement.
2. The other provisions of the written contract are reaffirmed as originally stated.
