Scavenging: In the month of October, there were four calls made to the District HQs to report scavenging activity: 170 Block of Virginia Pl 180 Block of 23rd St 280 Block of Ogle St 300 Block of Magnolia St I have patrolled the above areas at various time of the day during the week, but I’ve had no luck yet observing anyone scavenging. I will continue to patrol the areas. Trash Container Enforcement: In the month of October, there were five complaints that came into the District HQs to report addresses that leave their trash bins (t/b) in public sight (p/s). I made a visit to the following address: 869 Congress St – Spoke directly to resident and agreed to place the t/b out of p/s. 203 Palmer St – No t/b in p/s 899 Wilson St – No t/b in p/s 1833 Peninsula - Spoke directly to resident and agreed to place the t/b out of p/s. 1792 Peninsula – tagged w/ a courtesy notice 643 Darrell St – Tagged w/ a 1st Notice (yellow) I will follow up on these addresses and previous complaints to ensure compliance.
