SEPTEMBER 23, 2013
CALL TO ORDER The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District met in special session on
September 23, 2013 at 9:28A.M. at 628 W.
l9t Street, Costa Mesa.
ROLL CALL DIRECTORS PRESENT: James Ferryman, Robert Ooten, Art Perry,
Arlene Schafer, Mike Scheafer
DIRECTORS ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Scott Carroll, General Manager; Noelani
Middenway, Deputy Clerk of the District;
OTHERS PRESENT: Assemblyman Allan Mansoor; Jim Mosher,
Resident
PUBLIC COMMENT
President Ferryman invited members of the public'to address the Board.
Mr. Jim Mosher addressed the Board and provided public comment regarding the vague
language of the meeting notice and suggested identifying the topic of discussion.
Seeing no one further, President Ferryman closed public comments.
The following items were reviewed and discussed:
• Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) on August 31, 2013
• Discussions with CR&R regarding their anaerobic digestive facility
• CSDA Conference Awards

• Partnering with OC Goodwill and OCC for used item recycling event on Saturday,
October 26, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Inquire the latest news from Sacramento
The Board took no action on items of discussion at this meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, President Ferryman
adjourned the meeting at 9:52 a.m.
