Minutes of the Board of Directors Special _Meeting Held May 30, 1996
The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District attended a duly noticed
special meeting of Independent Special Districts of Orange County ( ISDOC) on May 30,
1996, 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Water District of Orange County, 10500 Ellis Avenue,
Fountain Valley.
Directors Present: James Ferryman, Arthur Perry, Nate Reade, Arlene Schafer,
Dan Worthington
The minutes of the ISDOC meeting are as follows:
1. A presentation was made to Mario Durante for his service to ISDOC.
2. A report on LAFCO was given by Phil Anthony.
3. Bob Huntley gave the CSDA report.
4. Profile of a Special District was presented by Elizabeth Minter of the Placentia
Library District of Orange County.
5. Legislative Concerns:
A. AB 2109 - Art DeBolt
B. The Garden Grove Problem - Sheldon Singer
6. John Schatz, General Manager of Santa Margarita Water District and Co -Chair of
the , Consolidation Study was the Program Speaker: The Preliminary
Recommendations, Where We Go From Here, Relationship to AB 2109
7. An update on by -laws was given.
No action was taken by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District.
