Minutes of Board of Directors Special Meeting held September 28, 1995
The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District attended a
duly noticed special meeting of Independent Special Districts of
Orange County ( ISDOC) on September 28, 1995, 7:00 p.m. at the
Municipal Water District of Orange County, 10500 Ellis Avenue,
Fountain Valley.
Directors Present: Nate Reade, Arlene Schafer
The minutes of the ISDOC meeting are as follows:
1. Featured Speaker - John Moorlach, Orange County Treasurer
John Moorlach spoke on the Orange County bankruptcy and his role
as Treasurer -Tax Collector. Mr. Moorlach provided an update of
the current recovery plan and the County's plans for the future.
After his speech Mr. Moorlach answered questions from the
audience.
2. ISDOC By -Laws
A motion was made and seconded to approve the new by -laws. After
much discussion the motion was defeated. It was decided that
ISDOC Secretary Robert Anslow highlight the proposed changes and
distribute them to the general members. A motion was made,
seconded, and carried that all current officers of the Executive
Committee be recalled or resign by December 1, 1995 and a new
election of officers take place.
3. Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
No action on any item was taken by the Board of Directors of the
Costa Mesa Sanitary District.
