BOARD OF DIRECTORS
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
• August 5, 1982
Call to Order The meeting was called to order by President
Wahner at 7:30 p.m.
Present: Directors - Wahner, Crank,
Hutchison, Hanson, Green.
Absent: None
Officials Present: Steven Haymari,cActing Manager
Roy June, Attorney
Robert Oman, Finance Director
Florine Reichle, Assistant
Secretary
Guests: Mrs. Jean Robins, 1807 Tahiti
Drive, Costa Mesa; Mrs, Jean
Patrick, 2198 Pacific Avenue,
Costa Mesa.
Public Hearing President Wahner informed the Board that this was
Trash Assessment the time and place fixed, pursuant to the notice
•
given, for the hearing of protests and objections,
and requests for exemptions to the proposed assess-
ment for trash and garbage collection, as set forth
in the report filed with the Secretary of the
District.
Notice of Ms. Reich-le informed the Board that the Notice of
Public Hearing Public Hearing had been published twice as required
by law, and the affidavit of publication is on file
in the District office . She also stated that no
written protests had been received.
Protests President Wahner asked if those present wished to
Heard be heard. Protest heard was to the method of
accounting by the District not the legality of the
assessment-nor the amount of the tax.
Public Hearing There being no furthur protests, President Wahner
Closed ordered the Public Hearing closed.
Resolution Director Green made a motion, seconded by Director
No. 82 -382 Hanson, that Resolution No. 82 -382, being A
RESOLUTION OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, OVERRULING PROTESTS TO
THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR TRASH COLLECTION AND
® ADOPTING THE REPORT ON FILE WITH THE CLERK OF THE
DISTRICT, be adopted. Motion was carried by the
following roll call vote:
Resolution AYES: Directors - Wahner, Crank, Hutchison,
No. 82 -382 Hanson, Green.

Adjournment President Wahner declared the meeting adjourned
at 8:14 p.m.
