Roll Call Present: Directors - Briggs, Warren, Rima, Porter
Glockner (arrived 6:40 p.m.)
Absent: Directors - None
Officials Present: Manager Eldridge, Assistant Director
of Finance Miller, Attorney June,
Jay Faerigan of the Engineer's office,
and Assistant Secretary Machamer.
The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District met in adjourned regular session at 6:30 p.m.
August 21, 1974, at the City Hall, 77 Fair Drive,
Costa Mesa, California, having adjourned at the
regular session of August 7, 1974. A copy of the
notice of adjournment was posted and delivered as
required by law.
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by
President Porter.
�Heltzer- Attorney June presented a Notice and Disclaimer of
Brookview Interest, requested at the August 7, 1974 meeting,
Tract 8241 for the Sanitary Sewer System in Tract 8241,
Heltzer Enterprises - Brookview. On motion by
Director Rima, seconded by Director Warren, and
unanimously carried, the Notice and Disclaimer
of Interest was approved and the Assistant Secretary
was instructed to place this document on record
with the Orange County Recorder.
Refund Director Rima made a motion to approve the refund
of Sanitary District fees in the amount of $23,257.50
to Jason R. Heltzer, Heltzer Enterprises - Brookview,
630 Paularino Avenue, Costa Mesa, against Tract
8241. This motion was seconded by Director Warren,
and carried by the following roll call vote:

Manager Eldridge presented the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District Budget for Fiscal Year 1974 -75. After
discussion, Director Warren made a motion that the
Costa Mesa Sanitary District Budget for the Fiscal
Year 1974 to 1975 be approved as follows:
General Fund $1,357,000
Sewer Construction Fund 284,681
No. 7 Sewer Trunk Fund 21,709
Facilities Revolving Fund 1,130,285
Total
$2,793,675
This motion was seconded by Director Briggs, and

A SUM OF MONEY FROM THE SEWER CONSTRUCTION FUND TO
THE B & I REDEMPTION FUND FOR TAX CODE AREA "B" FOR
THE RETIREMENT OF THE BOND ISSUE IN THE ORIGINAL
SUM OF $760,000.00 DATED OCTOBER 1, 1956, be adopted.

TAX RATE PER CENTUM, LEVYING A TAX UPON ALL THE
TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE COSTA MESA SANITARY
DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, WHICH IS
TAXABLE FOR THE OPERATIONAL RUNNING EXPENSES OF
THE DISTRICT, TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST ON
BONDS ISSUED BY THE DISTRICT, be adopted. This
motion carried by the following roll call vote:

Finance Report President and Secretary to sign Report 74 -2
No. 74 -2 instructing the County Auditor to draw a warrant
from the General Running Expense Fund in the amount
of $30.00. This motion was seconded by Director
Warren, and carried by the following roll call
vote:
