06 - B - Bottle Can Flyer BOTTLE & CAN RECYCLING FUNDRAISER CR&R would like to invite your school the opportunity to participate in a bottle and can recycling fundraiser with direct benefit to your school, your city and the environment. PROGRAM DETAILS: Schedule a meeting with CR&R to establish a location for the storage container. Provide organization’s name and tax ID number for check processing. Schedule a delivery date and time for your new storage container. Advertise and promote your school’s recycling fundraiser to your community. Collect plastic bottles and aluminum cans with CA CRV logo. Keep storage container locked when not being filled. Call (800) 573 -8806 to schedule an exchange when storage container is full. Recyclables are taken to our recycling center in Stanton. CR&R will issue check within three days for the full CRV value based on weight. Continue collection and receive checks for every full storage container. CR&R provides the storage container and transportation at no charge to your school . STORAGE CONTAINER DETAILS: Secure, lockable storage container measures 21’ long x 8’ wide x 8’ tall. Freshly painted grey/taupe color and decaled with program’s name. CR&R will provide a lock with two sets of keys. Storage container may be placed on black top, dirt/grass lot or in a parking lot. COLLECTION DETAILS: Plastic bottles and aluminum cans must have CA CRV logo. Bag plastic bottles separate from aluminum cans. Bags should be tall kitchen size or larger (no shopping bags please). Use clear or transparent bags. Stack bags in storage container as best as possible for maximum payload. Empty liquids from bottles and cans, but no need to rinse out. Lids on plastic bottles are okay. No glass beverage containers are accepted in this program. Bottles and cans do not need to be crushed.
