MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
HELD AT 77 FAIR DRIVE
June 21, 1967
Roll Call PRESENT: Directors - Rima, Porter, Nelson, and Swartz
ABSENT: Directors - Warren

The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
met in adjourned regular session at 7:30 p.m., June 21,
1967, at the City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, California,
having adjourned by order of the Board of Directors at its
regular session of June 5, 1967. A copy of the Notice of
Adjournment was posted and delivered as required by law.
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President
Swartz.
Letter from Manager O'Donnell read a communication from the Times
Times Mirror Mirror Company requesting annexation to the district of
their property located on Sunflower Avenue east of Harbor.
Upon motion by Director Nelson, seconded by Director Rima,
and unanimously carried, the letter was referred to Engineer
Southworth and Attorney June for processing.
Estimated After discussion, Director Nelson made a motion that Capital
Statement of Outlay Item No. 6, calculator and stand, be reduced from
Operating $550.00 to $175.00. This motion died for lack of a second.
Costs - -City
Contract Director Porter made a motion that the Estimated Statement
of Operating Costs in the amount of $376,303 be approved.
This motion died for lack of a second.
Director Swartz made a motion that Capital Outlay Item No. 6,
calculator and stand in the amount of $550.00, be deleted
from the Statement. This motion was seconded by Director
Nelson and unanimously carried.
Director Porter made a motion that the Estimated Statement
of Operations, submitted by the City, be approved subject
to the following changes:
1. Deletion of Capital Outlay Item No. 6,
calculator and stand, amounting to $550.00.

Statement of as "Other pickup service that may be entered

Costs - -City
Contract (Cont.) This makes a total "Estimated Statement of Operating
Costs" in the amount of $375,753.00.
This motion was seconded by Director Rima and carried
by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Porter, Rima, and Nelson
NOES: Directors - Swartz
ABSENT: Directors - Warren
Adjournment Upon motion by Director Nelson, seconded by Director Rima,
and unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned at :30 p.m.
