You are hereby directed to make the'herein described changes from the plans and specifications, or do the
following work not included in the plans and specifications on the contract.
Note: This change order is not effective until approved pursuant to adopted District policy

Description of work to be done, estimate of quantities and prices to be paid. Segregate between additional work
at contract price, agreed price and force account. Unless otherwise stated, rates for rental of equipment covet only
such time as equipment is actually used and no allowance will be made for idle time,
On January 31, 1995 and February 16, 1995 the Contractor encountered
unknown underground utilities which were not shown on any plans of
record. On January 31, 1995 the Contractor found an old steel fuel
line and a concrete water line. The contractor was requested to delay
work until it was determined the lines were abandoned and the
interferring portions could be removed. On February 16, 1995 the
Contractor encountered a 10" water line at' Sta. 23+38 which was
determined to be live The charges shown herein are for delay time
associated with encountering the unknown utilities See attached
paperwork

On February 17 and 20, 1995 the Contractor had to relocate a
10' water line at Sta 23+38 that interferred with the new sewer
The water line was not shown on any plans of record and was not
marked as part of the Underground Service Alert notification The
line is owned by the Orange County Fairgrounds on .whose property
is where the work is taking place . The charges as shown on the
attached paperwork are for relocating the line

Contractor is requested to replace the existing air release valve
on the pipeline in the Mesa Drive overcrossing It is desired to
have an automatic air release valve since the pipeline is located
in one of the bridge cells and is hard to access As shown on the
attached quotation contractor to provide and install new 2" air
release valve model Val Matic 485 for a total price of $850 00
