You are hereby directed to make the herein described changes from the plans and specifications, or do the
following work not included in the plans and specifications on the contract.
Note: This change order is not effective until approved pursuant to adopted District policy
Change Requested by Steve Casada Construction Co
Description of work to be done, estimate of quantities and prices to be paid. Segregate between additional work
at contract price, agreed price and force account. Unless otherwise stated, rates for rental of equipment cover only
such time as equipment is actually used and no allowance will be made for idle time.
Contractor experienced general failure of the asphalt street surface
in the construction area and other adjacent areas necessitating
increased replacement paving The street surface was old worn and
dry with cracking Contractor also experienced a slightly sandy soil
in one area of the trenching causing him to modify his shoring method
and necessitating extra backfill material Contractor is requesting
$22 374 for additional asphalt paving and $31 568 for trench related
problems
Recommended negotiated total amount = $38 000

additional cost that Casada Const is going to incur due to
the excess width of the trench and the additional paving
From station 2+00 to station 7+75= 575 Lf For the excavation
of the trench it took an additional two days for labor and
equipment
