Roll Call ,PRESENT: Directors - Norman, Porter, Nelson, Swartz, and Meyers
ABSENT: Directors - None
Officials Present: Manager O'Donnell, Attorney Roy June, Engineer
Southworth, Director of Finance Oman, Street Superintendent
Bogart, and Assistant Secretary Angel
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Meyers.
Roy June The Board of Directors retired into executive session for the consideration
Appointed of personnel matters. Upon motion by Director Porter, seconded by Director
Acting Atty. Nelson, and unanimously carried, Roy June was appointed Acting Attorney
for District for the District.
Minutes of Upon motion by Director Swartz, seconded by Director Nelson, and
Feb. 2, 16, unanimously carried, the minutes of February 2, 16, and 23, 1966, were
23, 1966 approved as posted and distributed.
Minutes of Manager O'Donnellsubmitted the minutes of the annual convention of
Calif. the California Sanitary and Sanitation Districts Association.. Upon
•Sanitary Dist. motion by Director Swartz, seconded by Director Porter, and unanimously
Annual Con. carried, the minutes were ordered received and filed.
Graham Attorney June informed the Board that after checking into the complaint
Complaint of Mrs. Graham that damages had been caused by a broken sewer line, it
was his opinion that the claim should be denied. After discussion,
Director Swartz made a motion that the claim be denied and submitted
to the Attorney for the District for a report if there is additional
information. This motion was seconded by Director Porter and unanimously
.carried.
Committeeto After discussion, Director Nelson made a motion authorizing the staff
Study Pro- and Directors Swartz and Porter to make a study on the proposal to
posal to change the method of collecting trash and garbage fees and submit their
Change Method findings to the Board, seconded by Director Porter, and unanimously
of Trash 6 carried.

Financial Upon motion by Director Swartz, seconded by Director Nelson, and
Report unanimously carried, the Financial Report for the month of February,
1966, was ordered received and filed.
House Count A communication was read by Street Superintendent Bogart requesting
an addition of 56 units to the house count. It was moved by Director
• Porter, seconded by Director Swartz, and unanimously carried, that
56 units be added to the house count, making a total of 23,912 as of
March 1, 1966.

Manhole on Engineer Southworth informed the Board that Wilson Street will be
Wilson to widened from Harbor Boulevard to Pomona Avenue within the next year,
be Remodeled and that as a result of this improvement the access manhole will be
in the middle of the traffic lane. He recommended that the pump station
be remodeled, bringing the access manhole behind the new curb line.
Director Nelson made a motion, seconded by Director Porter, and unani-
mously carried, that Engineer Southworth be instructed to proceed with
the plans and specifications necessary to remodel the pump station
on Wilson Street.
Director of Director Norman made a motion authorizing the President and Secretary
Finance to sign Report No. 65 -4 authorizing the County Auditor to draw warrants
Report No. from the General Running Expense Fund in the amount of $26,062.75.

roll call vote:

Adjournment Upon motion by Director Nelson, seconded by Director Porter, and
unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
