Subject: Collection System Pilot Program Proposals
Dear Rob:
The enclosed proposals offer performance guaranteed 60-day turnkey pilot programs for the Harbor and
Wilson Pump Station, gravity lines at Center Street and Monrovia and the Mission and Mendoza area
These are areas identified by Gerry Vasquez as problem areas during our site visits of April 27t1i
These pilot programs will demonstrate Ennix ability to control grease accumulation and odors from
grease in these specified areas of the collection system without the use of degreasers and odor control
chemicals. It will also eliminate the need for cleaning of the pump stations and sewer lines other than for
grit removal. You may wish to consider pre and post treatment video recording of some of the treated
piping to judge the results. The pump stations can be judged visually and by pre and post treatment
photographs.
Significant benefits will also accrue in the following areas:
• Improved personnel safety and elimination of citizen odor complaints;
• Reduced operation and maintenance costs;
• Odor H2S and grease control in downstream lines and lift stations.
Maintenance product usage and on-going monthly treatment costs will be determined at the conclusion of
the pilot program. Treatment for the Mission and Mendoza area is based upon the pilot program taking
place during the Orange County Fair These are all areas identified by Gerry Vasquez as problem areas.
Ennix will provide, maintain and fill all feeding equipment, supply all necessary biological products and
provide service technicians necessary to accomplish program goals. Monthly reports will also be
submitted in which program results will be measured.
We appreciate this opportunity to be of service and to support your system operations and maintenance
goals.
Very truly yours,
Ted Mullennix
